Job Summary:

Assists the Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and Coordinator in all supporting facets of the program and grant management activities including but not limited to participant recruitment, staff clearance processing, financial budgeting and reporting, ordering and management of supplies and materials, data entry for Children’s Services Council (CSC) reporting, and data management. Works closely with undergraduate Research Assistants, oversees daily scheduling and task completion.

Provides administrative and clerical support to Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and Program Coordinator in the coordination of program efforts across summer sites, program subcontractors, and grant officials.
Attends scheduled staff meetings and relevant trainings to assist in program implementation.
Assists the Research Coordinator(s) with the recruitment, hiring, training, and monitoring of temporary personnel for summer program.
Assists with budget and follows operating needs for Summer Reading Explorers Program. Organizes program materials, data collection activities, and schedules tutors and supervisors during program implementation period.
Provides assistance in preparing and processing requisitions, ordering supplies, and completing other budget paperwork. Assists in completing grant forms.
Prepares and orders materials for the Summer Reading Explorers program. Provides assistance in scheduling and preparing for grant reports.
Trains & oversees temporary personnel and students as it pertains to data entry activities.
Serves as the University’s credit card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University credit card policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED and five (5) years of office or related experience providing administrative support or coordinating functions of an office or department.

 

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of data management programs.
Ability to handle information of sensitive and confidential nature in the utmost professional manner in compliance with HIPAA.
Salary: $33,000 – $35,000

Begin time: 8:30 AM
End time: 5:00 PM
