Position title: Academic Hematopathologist
Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $275,000 – $383,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Position description
Candidates with a track record in the development and application of molecular, cytogenetic, genomic, and epigenomic diagnostics and/or flow cytometry/immunopathologic characterization of benign and neoplastic hematologic disorders, with evidence of scholarly contributions in clinical, translational and/or basic research, are encouraged to apply.
The appropriate series and appointment as Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Pathology (ABP) in clinical pathology (CP) or anatomic pathology/clinical pathology (AP/CP) or equivalent, with certification or eligible for certification in the ABP-subspecialty of hematopathology.
