Position Summary This position is directly involved in all daily warehouse operations. Responsible for the picking and packaging of sales orders, receiving inbound goods and facility maintenance.
This position requires interaction with freight carriers, fellow warehouse personnel, customer service and internal management.
Essential Functions and Duties

Assist in the set up and preparation of picking isles, packing and processing stations. This may involve the assembly and stocking of shipping supplies and ensuring all areas involved are prepared for daily shipping processes. Pick products/quantities/lot numbers accurately and efficiently from bin locations according to assigned pick lists for FFF customer orders.
Package outbound FFF shipments according to established procedures to ensure the accuracy of the shipment and that it arrives damage free.
Accurately process FFF orders through the SAP/xCarrier interfacein accordance with established procedures.
Perform day end close routine on shipping systems. Includes keeping accurate and organized files of all daily shipping reports.
Complete and file the monthly Facility Maintenance Report according to established procedures.
Assist in the unloading and staging of inbound FFF receipts, using appropriate material handling equipment.
Assist in the loading of outbound FFF shipments. This involves the operation of various materials handling equipment.
Work together with fellow warehouse personnel to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.

Operate material handling equipment with extreme care while keeping in mind the safety of one self and others in the work area according to established safety procedures and company policy.
Responsible for the manual log of temperatures in all Refrigerators and Freezers.
Continuously strive to improve processes, service quality to internal and external customers.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in the medical industry a plus.

Experience on material handling equipment preferred.

Must have strong organizational skills
Must have a detail orientation and the proven ability to prioritize work

Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team
Sound decision-making abilities
Must be professional and have a friendly customer service disposition. This position entails a high level of responsibility to complete job accurately and on time.
Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, multiply) and write legibly.

Physical requirements Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for long periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Working condition include warehouse setting.
Mental Demands Learning, thinking, concentration and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations’ situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
