The Recruiting Clerk welcomes new applicants and respond to inquiries by phone, email or in person. Assist with the recruitment and hiring process of new team members and perform general office duties.

Position Reports To: Recruiting Supervisor

Core Responsibilities:

First point of contact for potential candidates, provides quality customer service: answering phones, welcoming people, and responding to emails
Coordinating with team members and applicants in scheduling interviews
Complete preliminary applicant screenings, conduct interviews and extend offers of employment as needed
Perform general office duties: ordering office supplies, maintaining office supplies stocked/organized, making photocopies, filing and other tasks as required
Data entry into Applicant Tracking System (ATS), maintaining the ATS and placing job requisitions through the ATS and other job boards
Ability to work in a professional manner, exhibit a high level of confidentiality and integrity while handling all employment data
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others inside and outside of the company
Oral and written Spanish/English translation for new applicants and communication materials
Shredding confidential documents
Essential Job Requirements:


Experience with large amounts of data entry and high accuracy
Ability to work with team members of all levels
Excellent attention to detail with accuracy
Ability to travel to surrounding counties as needed
Exceptional written and oral communications skills
Committed to a culture of diversity and equality
Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Associates degree preferred
1-2 years’ experience in HR or Recruiting preferred
Bilingual in Spanish with ability to translate in written and oral form is required
Proficient with Kronos, preferred
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Sheets and Google Docs required

This position is in Lafayette Indiana (976 Mezzanine Drive, Suite B) a short drive from Purdue University.
